Swear Jar is an online community full of gamers, musicians, progressive activists, and journalists who run and organize live streams on Twitch. Stream content includes video games, interviews, live chats, musical performances, and charity fundraiser events. By creating a website for Swear Jar, having a dedicated live stream page allows followers easy access to scheduled streaming content while also increasing viewer retention and duration rates. This improves the content quality and interaction during live streams and creates a better sense of community.
Having a creative, non-traditional website was the best option for Swear Jar. Using a slider based responsive website allows for quick access of content and is very accessible on mobile, where a high percentage of stream viewership comes from. Embedding Twitch livestreams into the streaming page also allows native Twitch functionality so the streamers are still able to monetize their stream by gaining new subscribers and new followers.
Soundblind Studios also handled the logo, branding, and graphic design for the creation of Swear Jar’s community.
